I honestly thought the directions could have been better but I emailed you and got it. I really bought this for the winter, if the electricity goes out I have hot coffee. I need to see how many cups I can get with one charge. But it works for 1 cup.

Great and easy to use. The phone and the mug has to be quite close to each other to operate and if device goes into sleep the app cannot wake that. So we need to go to the mug anyways... Further development area: A line/datanon the screen which shows how much liquid is in the mug still or making that part of the mug transparent.

BAD STUFF: The flipper cover for the battery charging port broke off after 2 days. OH THE HUMANITY!
GOOD STUFF: I've done several endurance tests... found that, as advertised, the small battery lasts 10 hours at 60C/140F degrees (a bit less without "Power Saving"). In fact, I usually run out of coffee before the battery runs out (16oz per day is enuf fer me). Just as the microwave and cell phone changed the way we get along, now I need the Cauldryn Coffee with me for my "giddy up".

I adore the Cauldryn! As a property coordinator I am always running between site and office and having my tea at a drinkable temp is a god send.
I am severely disappointed that because I ordered it to be delivered to Canada, there was no mention that I would get charged a duty tax at the border.

I purchased the Cauldryn for my husband for a b-day gift in October because his coffee was never hot enough. He would often buy 2 & 3 cups of coffee just to get a few hot sips. He loves this coffee mug and he uses it daily. He is telling everyone about it how great it is and how it keeps his coffee hot (and saves us money in the long run). We did have a few hiccups in the beginning with the battery and the heating device, but the company was very quick to respond and send us a new device when we explained our problem. I am sure we will have several Cauldryns in our future!

I was absolutely excited about this product. When it works, it works great. Unfortunately, it does not always function as it should. I have burnt myself a couple of times because the app shows an incorrect temperature. Also, there is no way of seeing clearly the current temperature in the LED. I have the coffee cauldryn and I got no specific instructions for this one, only for the Fyre version.

My coffee is now always perfectly hot on my desk at the office - no more trips to the break room to do a microwave reheat. I had been using a $6 'coffee warmer' that kept the coffee at a very unsatisfying temp that was just above room temp. That warmer is history - the Cauldron 'Coffee' model with the smaller battery is perfect for my needs. I have not used the Battery as yet other than to charge it and verify the blue indicators come on when I press the On button, but may give it a try just to see if I can dispense with having the charger and cords on the desk. Very happy I did not buy the other brand that uses the Phase Change Material approach to simply use the heat energy in the original poured liquid to maintain a temp for a couple of hours. Our office coffee brewer does not produce - or maintain - the coffee at 135 degrees let alone at the 150 degrees that I like, and the Cauldryn takes care of that problem and more. I also use it when working from my home office. Great product - recommend it highly.

This is my second Cauldryn mug, my first one, Fyre mobile, is super for boiling water but not for coffee, there is burned spot on the element really hard to clean. My new one, Cauldryn Coffee, with a screwable bottom is much easier to clean and easier to set temp. So the Fyre for water and Coffee for the coffee.

So far so good. Second night the battery died pretty early- but I may not have charged it long enough. Keeps my coffe hot all night shift long! Pretty easy/intuitive to use. Haven't used the mobile base yet- and I may not since I have a power converter in my truck. A bit pricey but if it lasts 2-4 years it is worth it to have hot coffee all winter long

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my adult son. Looks very nice!!

Had the old one and the new one takes it up a notch. I use it to boil water on a C-17 to make freeze dried meals. No more box lunch for me!

Alright I have some nit picky stuff with this unit.
I got mine off Cauldryn's website and have been using it in my truck at work to brew hot tea and figured I would post a review after 6 days of use.
Pro
It does get up to temp to make a cup of Earl grey as advertised
The lid is easy to get on and off with no splashing like my yeti rambler (it spins off rather than pulls off)
The bluetooth app is easy to use and works as advertised
The opening is large enough to put a 2" tea infuser in and hang the chain on the spout
Con
Room temp water takes 25-30ish mins to hit 200 but not a deal breaker
It more that not displays the set temp rather than the actual temp and has caused my to burn my tongue.
After 6 days of uses the base is starting to rust next to the heating element.
You have to search and reconnect the app every time to the cup instead of pairing it and auto reconnect.
The threading of the lid is so that the spot you drink from is on the opposite side of the display at a 45 degree angle.
All in all I do like the unit and will be keeping it but will more than likely be contacting Cauldryn about the rust issue.

Day 1 and I love it. I had the Ember mug and sent it back. Glad I have the Cauldryn! Can set the temperature to my preferred drinking temp at 163 degrees (Ember only goes as high as 145). My coffee in hour 3 was just as good as the first sip. The lid is good too (much better than the Ember, that kept breaking).

I'm not sure why this mug isn't getting more press and/or more funding than it did on Indiegogo. SO FAR, by my long hours of use, it has outperformed:
1) Ember, burned up in less than a week, twice (they sent me a replacement, then refunded my money after the second burnup)
2) Yecup, burned up in a few days (refused to refund or replace)
3) SmartShow, burned up in a month (not bad - but won't even respond to emails for a refund or replacement)
4) Cheap DC mugs tethered to an AC/DC converter, burns up every 3-12 months, have gone through over a dozen mugs over the years. At $20 a piece for these cheap novelties, I just buy them and toss them and am grateful for the time it had given me! :)
5) Cauldryn - still going strong SO FAR and hoping it continues to last! :)
I will surely post an update down the road to see how long the Cauldryn lasts or if it burns up like the others, but for the past few weeks, this mug has survived my rigorous test of having my heated beverage long term with both the AC and battery.
This has been a 5+ year long journey for me to find a solution to this problem for me while working long office hours and wanting to have constant heated liquids at my disposal.
And NO, I was not paid or offered any free products by any of the companies named above, including Cauldryn.....but am happy if the solution ends with this company, which it appears it has. I would have been a proud and loyal investor had I know about this project early on.
Oh BTW, none of the above mugs, except my Cauldryn could boil water from their batteries...that is truly an amazing thing to see. Pretty wild.

Love this mug warmer! It makes such a difference to have hot tea without constantly coming back inside from my chores to reheat in a microwave. I tried the Starbuck's Ember Mug and Ember Cup. 145° is NOT HOT!! The Cauldryn keeps my beverage perfect for ME!! This product is truly an enhancement to my 64 year old lifestyle. I can't thank you enough for making it!!

Mixed feelings about my mug. I was expecting it to display the actual temperature of my coffee. I like "warm" coffee around 125-130. Fresh brew is too hot for me so I have to wait. Setting this mug to 125 tells me nothing about the actual temp. I left the top off to help it cool down faster. It should be easy for one to see the actual and set temps, either by touching a button or thru the app. I did see the actual temp show briefly here and there but not sure how to get to it on demand.
I found the app to be very basic. Lastly I do wonder what the "dead band" is for the temp, how much temp variation it allows before heating again. It seems to drop quite a bit below the set temp before re-heating. That said, it is nicely made and does keep things hot.

Getting ready for the next day. What a treat to have hot coffee on the way to work or while playing golf. I’m in love!

Perfect Temperature for My Coffee All Day Everyday!!
I bought mine on amazon.com and so far it has been great!! I love how It keeps my coffee temperature at 140° (which is my preferred temp) all day long. Also like the super user friendly app that lets me control my bottle form my phone.
Thank you Cauldryn for making coffee drinking fun again.

I do enjoy how versatile it is. You don't really realize how a few degrees can effect your experience on drinking (in my case) hot tea. I enjoy it completely at 138 degrees. My wife likes it a little cooler at 130 degrees. This thing has a wide range of abilities. Great product, thanks!

I love this thing. Didn't know I needed it, but now I can't stop using it.
