As a truck driver, this is good for keeping my coffee hot all day. Haven't tried the percolator yet. A few things that I would change are, include a handle, and use a coiled 12 volt power cord.

It works exactly like I hoped. The only note is that the battery boils the water much quicker than using the dock. On the dock, it takes around 20 or so mins; whereas, using the battery is only 2-3 mins.

Love it! It did decrease my coffee consumption! and that's a good thing. I noticed I was simply getting to the bottom of my cup and drinking more coffee than I wanted to. Once my coffee was hot all the time I enjoyed it more, longer and overall ended up consuming less. Awesome! One thing that needs improvement is the lid. I don't really have full trust in it. Sometimes it does leak. If I were to be pickier I would love the LED to turn off with a timeout, especially on battery. Oh btw, the mobile phone integration is very buggy and to be honest pretty useless. You don't need it :) The mug itself is so convenient. That's all. Go buy it! It's the best out there.

I got it to take to work, but it hasn't been a work day yet. So I'm trying it out today... so far, I love this thing! I put my coffee in it, took a few sips, and left it on the bathroom counter as I showered. I took a long shower, and yet, my coffee is still piping hot and delicious.
This is going to be great at work, hot coffee and tea all day!
I love how this thing comes completely apart, basically a metal sleeve! Easiest to clean travel mug I've ever had!
I like being able to pull the battery off so easily, but no so easy that it can be done accidentally. I like being able to hand over just the drinking part to have it filled at the coffee shop instead of surprising the barista with the weight of the battery.
So my complaints.... I tried boiling, and it said it was ready, but... not wasn't really boiling. The drink that required boiling came out perfect still, so it's perfectly fine this way. I'm just a little confused.
Someone else complained this mug is heavy. It is. That's just the cost of having hot drinks without being tethered to a plugged in base. Any mug capable of doing what this mug does will be heavy no matter who makes it unless battery technology improves. I'm sure when battery tech improves, Cauldryn will have a lighter version. I have no complaint about this mug's weight. In fact I really like how you can use it without the battery. If I'm at home, I can just stick it on the AC coaster.
Thank you for NOT doing something stupid like putting a Bluetooth speaker on it or something gimmicky! This battery is for coffee and tea!
I would like to see a blank base that just holds drink in. It's an insulated cup, and a blank base would be nice for using it in "cold mode".
I love the subtlety of the logo! It's there, but it's not screaming.
A memory button would be cool in the next version. I could then set it to what I need to brew tea, and then hit the memory button to jump back to my preferred drinking temp.

Liked it so much I bought 2 more for my daughters.

My husband is a truck driver and loves hot coffee. It has been great but he uses the mobil charger and the cord does not stay plugged in. Do not like that!

My husband got this for me for Christmas even though I was looking at another brand. At first, the size and weight were off-putting, but the more I used it (I drink tea everyday) the more I liked it. I have the Fyre 2.0 with one battery and the desk unit as well as the car adapter. My tea stays perfect until it's gone. Definitely a great buy. Can't remember how I functioned without it!

I was searching the internet for a way to make bulletproof coffee while on vacation. When I came across this I couldn't believe I found something that would grind beans .brew coffee and blend it! Sounded too good to be true. So far it has been fantastic. Thank you so much for this product. Can't wait to see what other attachments you'll make for it!

I just got it a couple days ago. I owned the original version and was disappointed by the leaky lid and the failed heating element, but this new one has been updated and has addressed my complaints. I really like the new precision temperature controls. So far so good, but we'll see how long this one lasts.

I don’t like to give negative reviews so I won’t. Haha but I will give my honest opinion on what I think is overall a good product so far. Opening the box I was excited to see what it was like. I quickly put it together and checked the fit and finish. For the price I’d say the most negative thing is the fit and finish. It was not as high end as I thought it would be for a $150 coffee mug. Plastic seems a little bit cheap and the sipping side of the lid is not on the same side as the Lcd readout. Not really that big of a deal. (Seems like it should) I opted for the 2.0 which has the bigger battery which does mean it weighs more and also makes it heavier to drink from. I have tested for a week now and set my coffee at 150 degrees all day. Had it run for 8 hours and still more than half the battery remained. Awesome. I tested the boil feature and it ran for about 2 hours on and off keeping the water close to boiling temperature from a fully charged battery. That’s impressive. I like the ability to make tea on the go if you run out of time all you need is a teabag some sweetener and a bottle of water. Overall I would recommend this mug to anyone wanting to drink their beverage at the same temp all day. As for the usb plugs to charge your phone, nice touch but I may never use them. I would like to see the ability to charge from vehicle. Overall I say buy it!

Had a problem with the lid and the company replaced it right away. Excellent service.

I have had this for about a week and it works as advertised. I only drink coffee in the mornings and a full battery last 2-3 mornings set at 170. I no longer throw away cold half cups so I actually use less coffee. My only wish is if it were a little shorter (see pix).
Robert K.
I love to use it at work. As a teacher, I often don't get to drink my coffee before it would get cold. However, with this, I can fill my mug before I leave for school and it stays hot for hours!
Dale W.
I love it and it does great however I only get one time heating up to 170 then the next time it’s only up to about 130 before battery dies. Products great battery life is not doing well.

I bought your product because my coffee can get cooled off if I get distracted from the enjoyment. I drink coffee all day. The Cauldryn keeps my coffee at a consistent 160 degrees F. all day which, I feel, is the ideal temperature to bring out the most flavor, sip after sip. I brew my coffee with a Technivorm Moccamaster machine, so it makes sense to want to preserve all the flavor that this machine produces. And the Cauldryn does that for me.
I highly recommend!

I use the Cauldryn Fyre Mobile 2.0 nearly every day. It does a great job of heating water for tea and coffee when I am at college without having to pay coffee shop prices for hot drinks. After heating one mug the battery can be recharged and a second mug heated later on.
I do have one small concern. As I study in a college library safety is an important issue. It seems that the battery is safe in itself. However it is possible to unscrew the heating unit from the flask while hot water is in the flask causing hot water to flow over the battery and the hands of the user by mistake. The user should of course unscrew the battery from the heating unit instead but these two joints are separated only by the heating unit which is 1/2 an inch thick so this can easily happen by mistake.
I do not need to remove the heating unit from the flask for cleaning very often as I only heat water in the flask. There is no locking mechanism to stop the joint between the heating unit and the flask being unscrewed unintentionally, but I have come up with my own solution. I have put some sticky tape on this joint between the heater and the flask, and this enables me to unscrew the battery from the flask when it is full of hot water without any fear of unscrewing the heating unit instead. Other than that it is a great product. Most people that have seen me use it in the UK see immediately what it does but they do not seem to realise where they could get this product themselves.

I am happy over all with my Cauldryn. It works as described, battery life is great, and I like the look and feel overall. I have just a few criticisms to share:
1. It is just slightly too big for the cup holder in my car, so I wish the diameter of the battery pack on the bottom was just a little smaller.
2. I wish there was a way to charge and use the cup at the same time while I'm not "on the go". I bought the extra charging base to keep at work, but didn't realize that the base will only power the mug WITHOUT the battery attached, and you only get one power supply. The power supply plugs separately to the base to power the mug vs the battery to charge the battery. I do like being able to use the mug at my desk without the heavy battery attached, but it would be nice to be able to charge the battery and use the base to power the mug at the same time. The only way this would be possible would be to have 2 bulky power supplies and one base. That design is a little odd.
3. I wish the temperature control could be just a little bit smarter. When you start getting to the end of your cup of coffee, if you take a drink shortly after a heat cycle, I'm pretty sure it is probably quite a bit hotter than the set temperature. I have gotten into the habit of turning it off once I get close to the end of the cup (although with the Cauldryn + battery being fairly heavy, it is not always easy to tell for sure how much drink is left based on weight).
4. The lid open/close mechanism feels a little clunky to me, and I wonder how clean it will stay over time under that sliding mechanism. I think I would prefer a hinged design that would be easier to clean.
5. Finally, I am not a huge fan of the "modular" design. I wish there was an all in one option you could get if you have no intention of ever buying the blender attachment. Reason is that I think the gasket seal around the heating element looks like it could get a bit funky over time and might not be the easiest to keep clean. I also wonder about the longevity of that seal and if it will start failing overtime.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Cauldryn mug. I cannot say enough about this thing. This is my 5th attempt at this technology and after hundreds of dollars over the last few years and ALL FAILED experiences with "OTHER" brands, the Cauldryn, SO FAR, is the only one that has worked and worked well for the past year or so. I've had both the classic and the new digital one and love the new improvements. This company really does listen to critics as they've made improvements everyone has been screaming about in their 2nd generation mug of this type. It's bulky, but for me, a small price to pay for the results.

As a developer there is almost nothing more important than having a hot supply of coffee. The Cauldryn has changed my life.

Well, this is the best coffee travel mug anybody can get. The battery life stood up till 36 hours and kept everything at the specified temperature. Amazing performance and is a must-have for anyone who has coffee on the go or needs it warm. I have been using it for 3 days and I am very very satisfied. Greetings from Dubai UAE.

This is an awesome product. The customer service is above and beyond for the time I needed it. The warranty is real and no hassle. To be able to hike and travel while heating your own food and drink without need to stop and build a campfire or carry a propane camp stove and pot can't be overstated. It's ability to charge while hiking hooked to a solar supply on your backpack makes it a backpack necessity, though you will notice the weight, some of which can be offset by not packing other cooking /eating gear. Everyone who has seen me use it and inquired has put it on their need to get list.

It works exactly as advertised except for the Bluetooth app in Android. The Bluetooth app works fine with my apple tablet. However, I don't even use the app, I use the dials on the mug itself. I took my ember mug back to the store and bought the Cauldryn mug instead. the Cauldryn may not look as pretty but it holds 3x more liquid, it boils, it maintains temperature, it blends and it has all day battery life and serves as a backup battery for my phone! I traveled from the USA to Brasil with it. I had to check the blender in with my luggage. It worked perfectly!!

Love it! It is a bit heavy but once you drink your drink at the perfect temp for you you will never go back! The base can be difficult to clean if you have milk in your drink. I have discovered using one of those thin scrubbing pads with a drop of glass top oven cleaner works great.

Works great heats instantly highest quality would buy again

I purchased the Cauldryn Mobile 2.0 and it works very well. I'm impressed by it and I'm glad that it's something unique that I can take camping and on road trips. It's a great design overall. Optimistically I hope version 3.0 allows for USB-C battery packs to be used. As they can input up to 100watts. If it's possible that versatility would be phenomenal. A carrying case would also be really useful. Great job!
