Surprisingly strong and vigorous blender. Starts easily, runs hard, and plenty of battery. I haven't had much luck blending ice with it. The whole chamber might be just too tight for circulation, but the best it does is chip some of the ice up. If you're expecting blended margaritas on the go, think again. This is probably best for blending up protein mix and soft fruit. Do you have faith in your lid seal? You will have to. This is supposed to be turned on upside-down first, then brought to the mixture. Also, if you want to swap it out for a smaller or heated base, that has to be upside down. The good news is the lids do seal well, so no biggie. It's not lightweight, and there's no easy way to pack it.. it's like carrying a cactus. It really should come with a plastic hard cover or cap.
